I subscribe to tut.com for the daily newsletter, here is today's message from the universe:
"When you can look beneath their behavior that hurt you, Adaela, and you can see the frightened child - it becomes nearly impossible to be angry and carry a grudge.
And you so can.

I'm enjoying the messy freedom of working with oil pastels
I once read something by Louise Hay--she said it's a great practice to imagine your enemies on a stage experiencing success with you cheering them on. Have I acted on that? No. But I imagine if I did, it would lighten my load. Forgiveness is such a lightener--both in the sense of bringing light and in lifting the burdens.
ReplyDeleteYour pastel feels like that--light and carefree.
P.S. My word verification for my previous comment was BLIST. Thought you'd like to know.
ReplyDeleteA friend once told me "If you're not sure what to do, do nothing." Hardly good advice, but I've been prey to it for two days while I pondered where to respond you your comment - decision: cover all the bases.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my piece... that's what people often say about me at first few glances, and I've been turning it over since.
blist... did you know life has a sense of humour? :-)
